Skincare Edit: Natural Spring Skincare Products

Well, It’s been about a week since my last post, and honestly, I do not have an explanation for the unexpected hiatus. I just had a week that was busier than I expected and honestly didn’t plan my posts in advance. Yup, I’m still learning the ropes of this blogging thing and haven’t perfected my craft yet. Still working on it! But I’m here now and I want to share some of my spring skin care products. These are products that’ll be a staple and be taking a front row on my skincare shelf. Obviously, I’ll be trying new products as usual but these are some products that I will always turn back to. My goal for this post is to hopefully guide you to pick out the best product for your skin this season.

For starting, you should read my post on How to create the perfect spring skincare routine which I published last week. It’ll give you a low down on what your skin truly needs for springtime. This may be slightly different from your winter skincare, depending on where you live. So we’ll follow the order in that post.

Lets go!

For a cleanser, my go-to will definitely be the OSEA Malibu Ocean Cleansing Milk. If you have read my blog long enough, you know I absolutely love this brand. I have previously used the OSEA Mudd cleanser and LOVE it! For spring tho, I want something slightly milder than the Mudd cleanser. The cleansing milk is just right. Next cleanser will be the LILFOX Miami Jungle Glow. This is probably my favorite cleanser yet. It cleanses and exfoliates at the same time. URSA Major fantastic cleanser is my other favorite cleanser to use in the evenings. I prefer to use this in the evening because I tend to use a face brush and this product is mild enough since I’m using a harsh brush.

Two scrubs have been doing it for me and will continue to do it for me. They’re both drug store and affordable! First is the Andalou Naturals Lemon Sugar Facial Scrub This is seriously one of my favorites! It leaves my skin so clean yet not stripped of moisture. This scrub contains lemon sugar and willow bark both of which work so well do deep clean and remove dead skin cells. It does I also religiously use the Avalon Organics Enzyme Scrub. This scrub is a lot grainier but I haven’t had any problems with it hurting my skin even when I use it every day. You can also use a chemical exfoliant that works for your skin. I don’t have any. I will be repurchasing the Gaffer & Child Facial Scrub because I honestly love this scrub so much! It’s a more moisturizing version of the Andalou sugar scrub.

My current go-to eye cream is the Root Science BRIGHT: Rejuvenating Botanical Eye Serum. This is a pretty pricey eye serum *insert shook meme* but I am challenging myself to protect my undereye area so this will come in handy. I also have the juice beauty smoothing eye concentrate. I’ll be sure to find a more affordable eye cream that works and update this post when I do.

My go-to moisturizer for the spring is the OSEA Malibu blemish balm. This moisturizer is so lightweight and works so well for oily skin. Osea also has other products for all skin types so be sure to check them out. A little bit of product goes a long way and this product can possibly last you about six months of everyday use. The Fit glow cloud comfort cream is another staple. Since I got this product, I have consistently used it multiple times per week. It leaves your skin so so smooth and hydrated without any extra oil. It is worth every single penny. Let’s not forget the Mahalo Balm that soothes, protects and moisturizes your skin. When my skin needs some TLC and treatment, I use this couple times a week and my skin literally glows!

This one is tough because I honestly have so many of them it’s hard to pick which ones would take center stage. I have fallen in love with serums and need help! But Definitely get a hyaluronic acid serum. The custom Hyaluronic acid serum and the Signature Precious oils Serum from Activist skincare are some of my favorites, ever! A vitamin C serum is also very important as it packed with antioxidants and can boost skin’s collagen production. URSA Major’s Brighten Up vitamin C serum does it for me! It’s seriously so great and you’ll notice the difference in how your skin looks. I can’t say enough good things about this serum. Lastly on the serum roll is Kudu Cosmetica’s Squalane. This is very affordable, moisturizing and super hydrating.

If you’re still with me, then let’s round this up with masks. I really love the Andalou Organic’s Pumpkin & Glycolic mask. It will literally brighten your skin! The chlorophyl Brightening mask from LILFOX is also a go-to for me as well as the HoneyActive beauty mask by Aveseena. These masks all deep clean your pores and brighten/soften the skin.

And that’s it! Phew, that was a lot! Obviously, you don’t need to go buy all these products. Just check out the reviews and pick which one works best for your skin. Whichever option you pick, Your skin will love it! Happy glowing skin this spring!
