If you had told me last year that I’d be a lover of face oils, I would’ve shut the door right on your face. For as long as I can remember, I have always been a skeptic when it comes to face oils, especially for oily skin. I have oily/combination skin. So for the longest time, I assumed and believed the myth that using oils on your skin was a no-no. Fast forward to a few years later, I am not learning that using the right oil is actually beneficial to keeping your skin healthy, youthful and glowing!
For this post, I just want to highly some face oils in my collection. This is not necessarily a review; review for the ones I love will come as soon as I have used them enough to review. In a future post, I will go more into detail about the benefits of these oils and their benefits for Your Skin type.

This serum is great especially for anyone looking for an effective face serums without breaking the bank. It contains AHA which is great for treating skin discoloration and improving the appearance of wrinkles. It’s also great for improving the texture of the skin by exfoliating that dead skin cells and revealing a great texture. I haven’t used this as frequently. I liked it except for the fact that it was almost sticking when I applied it which I didn’t particularly care for. If you can ignore the texture when you first apply it, It’s an amazing product.
Sukin Super Greens Facial Recovery Serum is a serum that contains antioxidants and vitamins to deliver a healthy glow to the skin. It features a blend of kale, spirulina, chlorella and parsley to add radiance, and grape seed oil, avocado and cocoa butter to lock in moisture. Acai berry promotes youthful-looking skin, while beta-carotene, carrot seed oil, and vitamin E improve skin tone and texture. The serum has an invigorating cranberry scent. Absorbs really quickly and left my skin supple. I used it day and night.
There’s a whole new post coming for this product. I will review it along with other products from this brand. I really like this product. When I use it, I often use it in place of my face moisturizer. it is truly hydrating and a must have in my skincare routine. It is lightweight and soaks into the skin fairly quickly.
I just got this product and love it so far. At a whopping $110, it is the most expensive skincare product I own. I bought it after reading about the amazing benefits. I have been having dark spots and need something that’ll treat it asap because I am not used to my skin being this way. This product will be included in a skincare challenge that I will be doing for 30 days. I’ll review as soon as I have gotten good use.
This is definitely one of my favorites. I reach for this almost every day. it’s hydrating and is supposed to help with a dark spot. This is also great for reviving and recharging skin, healing sun damage, and chronic dry skin. I definitely love this stuff. I use it every night.
This one is definitely one of my favorite skincare serums. Vitamin C has some awesome benefits which this product definitely comes wit. I call this product my problem solver. Along with other products in my routine, it leaves my skin incredibly bright. I find that I benefit more when I use it along with my OSEA Malibu blemish balm. This product is also very affordable for the quality. If you have dark spots, sun damaged or dull skin, this product works well to keep your skin bright and radiant. Definitely one of my top faves.
Squalane is one skin care ingredient that I have recently been seeing a lot in the beauty community. I am still learning what this thing does. I ordered this one because it is coming all the way from South Africa and me though it made sense just to include it since I was already ordering something from the brand. I haven’t used this yet but will be sure to review them when I do.
Moringa Oil is a powerhouse oil. It has incredible benefit for skin, hair, and health. It can help fight acne, dark spots, hydrate skin, and works great as an anti-aging ingredient. The benefits are amazing and I love having this in my collection. I add a few drops when I moisturize my hair and I’m always looking for ways to incorporate this into my everyday routine.
I have reviewed this oil in a previous post. While I loved this product, I don’t really reach for it so much. I think it is best for normal to dry skin and people looking for extra hydration. I’ll probably be passing this on to my sister.
I realized this post is getting longer, so I will stop here. If you have any specific question about each of the oils, do let me know! I will do a detailed review of the ones I’ve used extensively.
Thanks for stopping by 🙂
